Portraits of Gabby

So I spent the afternoon with my niece as I worked on my sister's computer. And low and behold... it turns out my niece is quite the photogenic ham. Below are some of the shots I culled out from the trash bin... Enjoy

Photogeddon - Day 13 - Unlucky

So today's Photogeddon is about experimenting with a Halloween theme. One of my favorite all time bogeymen is Michael Meyers. While some of this imagery may disturb you, please don't flame me about the subject matter.

So now that I brought the subject matter up, I want to throw this disclaimer out there for everyone. The child in the photo is my youngest daughter. She is 10 years old and at no time was she in any danger. I shot the photos of her while she was putting dishes away, so she handles that knife all the time. This is not Michael Jackson hanging his kid off a balcony several stories up, so withhold these types of comments.

My daughter is not as creepy as she is portrayed here. She is a normal and happy 10 year old who loves puppies, kittens and ponies; well not kittens so much because they scratch, but everything else. So if you ever meet her, just know that she isn't the wicked looking hell child portrayed below.

Now with that said, I have been dying to shoot something like this, but want to do it on a grander scale. This was my chance to test the waters of the concept I want to shoot. I want to shoot adults, include custom lighting, a little fake blood, a victim and monster. Any takers?

Nobody was hurt during the shooting of these photos.

Coming Soon To A Park Near You - Spring Joy

With the exception of the for the prozac overdosed blond girl on the far right, everyone at the park is absolutely excited about something on this fine Spring afternoon.

From Sliding, running, to an exuberant reaction to something that only she can see... everyone is having the time of their life. Then there is the girl who appears to have had her dog kicked by a golfer just before I snapped this photo.

Regardless of her under-joy, Spring is coming sooner than you may think and Spring time means fun for everyone... save blonde and maybe her dog.
