Mountain Trip Tuesday and a Tornado Terror

Today was a fantastic day for me, and not so fantastic for others. My friend Terry picked me up this morning at 5:00 AM and we took a drive to the Cascade Mountains for a wild photography trip. We saw a lot of different weather including stars, clouds, rain, sleet, freezing rain, sun and snow... and while we were out a Tornado struck in a little town close to where I live called Aumsville destroying several businesses and homes.

Even with all of the damage, there are zero reported injuries and deaths. Everyone is alive and well, shaken up, but alive. And if those of you in mid west are thinking, Tornados are nothing new, in Oregon we have only had a handfull that caused this level of damage in the last 30 years. It would be like Kansas being hit with a Hurracane, not likely.

Anyways, here are a few shots from the shoot with Terry.  I haven't slept in 36 hours and am heading into a huge crash... so I might post up more photos tomorrow, but it is not know if that is likely. I am expecting to sleep for the next 12 hours. Until next time, enjoy the shots.
