The Final From Fairview

So here is the last images I am going to share from Fairview. The place is an amazing mix of texture, character and history. I could blog for weeks about this location, but I won't do that. Rather I will close this chapter of my photographic life with these images.

7 New Photos From Fairview

Some more photos from my Fairview trip. Many, if not all, have a dark feel to them, but a lot of that has to do with the weather we were exposed to during our time on the campus. It poured; hard. In some places it flooded. The wind howled loudly, at times, through the numerous old oak, pine and fir trees.

We were miserable through most of the shoot, but the photos below prove it was worth the time, patience and perseverance.

First Shots from Fairview

Yup... it rained. It rained hard. The light was bad, The light was real bad. But boy was it worth it all the effort and the soaking wet clothes. After two hours of research, I was able to contact the managing partner of firm that owns the abandoned facility. Abandoned for 20 years, the buildings are in bad shape, but are beautiful.

Here are the first images from the Fairview Training Center. More will be posted in the following days:
