Love
Isn't she beautiful? I love everything about my wife... even the icky parts. These are just a few of the images of my wife captured by the MRI machine.

Selective Color - Flower BW
Selective color processing this time focusing the color to the background elements, rather than the flower.

IR Touch The Sun
How close can you get to the sun before you burn up?
This was shot testing a new Infrared Filter I picked up last week. The filter is a Hoya R72 58mm Lens Filter. The cost was $45 dollars (which included shipping). Now I have to figure out how to use it properly.
The filter blocks out 99% of visible light. So unless your subject is extremely lit, like the sun, you will have to set your exposure to 15 seconds or more to get any detail. Because I was shooting directly at the sun the shutter fired at 1/320th of a second.

Alive and Well
For an update... My wife is still in the hospital tonight. She is doing much better. The spots on her brain, found yesterday via an MRI, turned out to be inflamation of an unknown origion.
She remains in the hospital for one more steriod treatment to reduce the inflamation. After her treatment tomorrow afternoon she will be released. IT will be good to have her home.
We appreciate all of the love, prayers and support from our family and friends, here in Flickr and abroad. This has meant so much to us.
This is photo of my hand holding my wife's wedding ring on my pinkie while she went through the MRI. Her ring size is 7 and when I gave the ring back to her after her MRI scan was done it left a mark.... if you look hard you can see it is between my first and middle knuckle. My wedding ring is a size 15 for comparison.
I love you sweetie and me and baby girl can't wait to have you home and feeling better.

Emotions
I got these photos before we knew the seriousness of her condition... after that the camera was put away for good. All prayers are welcome.
Once the IV was in they took what seemed like a quart of blood from my wife.
MRI Prep
I got these photos before we knew the seriousness of her condition... after that the camera was put away for good. All prayers are welcome.
Today was a rough day... After work I took my wife to the hospital. After describing her symptoms, the doctor prepped her for a trip to the MRI where they discovered two spots on her brain. They are unsure what the spots are, but they could be inflamation, infection or tumors... won't know more until tomorrow.
My wife is 25 years old.

Full Moon
Coming home we ran into this beauty. So I pulled over, at the insistence of my wife, and took a few shots of the moon. I love the treeline silhouette.
Icebow
An icebow is phenomenon similar to a rainbow except that it is formed by the refraction of sunlight through cloud suspended ice crystals as opposed to raindrops or other liquid water suspended in the air.
Navajo
Traditional garb... he was gracious enough to stand in the 100 degree sun for me to capture this amazing photo.
