A break from the storm. I took the opportunity to capture some of the beauty that persists.

Wall Sconce
This Is Love
My wife and our dog, Baby Girl at the park. She is a ball of energy but she is also quite the cuddler... but I could go on forever about my wife. :) Baby Girl has been an amazing addition to our family.
The best thing we have done for ourselves in the last two years.

King Midas Was Here
I am so tired of shooting macros, but I can help it. It is one of the few techniques I am good at. So until I find my voice I will keep posting up this standard crap.

365: Day 37 - The Darkest Corners Of My Mind
Today wasn't really a bad day, but it wasn't good enough to stop my mind from wandering down familiar dark alleyways.

Liquid Sunshine
This is about as green as it comes. The water was truly what captured my eye though. A must see at full size.
Happy Easter
It is Easter Sunday and as I showered in the morning, this shot popped into my head. So I grabbed my daughter and dragged her to yard and snapped this.
Happy Easter everyone.

365 Day 25 - I Am A Mushroom
Sometimes I feel like I have pushed my way through a bunch of crap only to find that I have lost my momentum.

Groovin With Gloves On
Every day I struggle internally with so many things. In this rare [clear] shot of me, you see me how I am... basically a walking billboard for bad taste... which is a complete contradiction to how my co-workers see me every Monday - Friday... khakis, polo (or button down) and dressy Schetchers.
In real life I hate shaving and combing my hair (which is why prefer to shave my head). I have no sense of style (look at me, I look like a walking Christmas tree and I go out in public like this). I don't do it to make a statement, I just don't care what other people think of me.
Each morning I wake up wondering what I am going do... play bass, shoot some pics, draw, paint etc. And recently, more days than not, shooting pictures have prevailed.
I am not good at any of the mediums I work in... sure, by looking at my pool you will see that I have moments in photography, but even a one year old has moments of promise.
Each time I pick up a pencil, a paint brush, a musical instrument and even my camera, it is like the first time... I am a virgin to the medium all over again.
My life is like playing bass with gloves on... and it is frustrating. So if you ever see me on street holding a camera, pad and pencil, a brush, or a muscial instrument just remember...
Take it easy on me... I'm a virgin.

Beautiful Goose
This photo is taken in tribute to the Canadian Geese that are harrassed daily by a business that was offered millions of dollars in incentive to move into the area. They chose a local wetlands to move into and now have their security guards chasing the geese not only off their property, but far away from their property using some otherwise unimaginable and cruel methods.
Stay tuned for more on this story.

Sun Glints
This my favorite Canadian Goose photo I have taken. The light really added to the mood I have always tried to capture.
365: Day 4 - Morning Fuel
I don't sleep well when I am on the road. I can't go to sleep and I wake up a dozen times a night. Because of this I need a kick to my system to get me going... and Live Wire is the kick that works best for me.... it's not as bad as you think, The third ingredient is Concentrated Orange Juice.
I used to drink this stuff like water, but have cut back to only a 20oz bottle or two a month. Much less than the four or five a day I was at before.
The New Beginning
One of the best pictures of a flower I have ever taken. The was in the Avery Park Rose Garden. Taken using a Kodak Z740 digital camera.
Mountain Lake
A quite mountain lake in Oregon. This was taken during a fishing trip with my wife and parents using a Kodak Z740 digital camera.
Peek-A-Boo
This guy was actually trying to peek around the tree to see me because I moved back. I snapped this photo as we locked eyes again.
DoF - Open Flowers
This shot was taken to express the support of environmental influence on kids. The flowers already open and in bloom have received more of some things than the unopened pods... They received the kisses of sunshine and the tears of rain to support their growth... I don't know... maybe I am just babbling on here... but there seems to be something to this.
My Symbol
This is the symbol of my freedom. It may be the symbol of oppression for others, but I do not control what others do. I wish all people to be as free as me.
The Baby Girl
Our pride and joy... She is a sweetie pie when she isn't hyperactive. Taken with a Kodak Z740 digital camera.
Sunbreak
This was an amazing view and I just had to capture it. For the most part, only people from the Northwest know what Sun Break means. Taken with a Kodak Z740 digital camera
Angry Goose
This is a shot of an angdy goose chasing away another male.
